The Gymnastics Federation of Fiji (GFF) is the official governing body for Gymnastics in Fiji. Established in 2015, GFF’s mission is to positively change lives through fundamental movement and promote lifelong health and wellbeing for all communities and abilities.
GFF is an affiliated member of the International Gymnastics Federation (FIG), Fiji National Sports Commission and Fiji Association of Sports and National Olympic Committee (FASANOC).
Five gymnastics disciplines are offered in Fiji, being the Olympic disciplines of Women’s and Men’s Artistic Gymnastics, as well as Aerobic Gymnastics, Acrobatic Gymnastics and Gymnastics for All. Participation programs delivered by GFF are specifically designed to provide fun, fitness, friendship and fundamental movement skills in a safe and positive environment and are suited for Fijians of all ages and abilities. GFF is also committed to providing a framework that encourages the training and continuous improvement of affiliated clubs and accredited coaches and judges. As gymnasts gain experience, GFF strives to develop our athletes, providing pathways towards international competition. In September 2018 the first Fijian gymnasts competed at a competition internationally representing VOU Dance (and Gymnastics) Club at the Gymnastics Australia National Clubs Carnival.
